Landscaped park Mierzja Wiślana (Vistula Spit)

The area is under legal protection in order to preserve the country’s unique natural, cultural, historical and landscape values.

The park covers the eastern part of the Vistula Spit with a series of dunes covered with a coastal pine forest, the highest of which is the Wielbłądzi Garb (Camel’s Hump) with a height of 49.5 m above sea level.

Places worth visiting on the Vistula Spit:

  • the former concentration camp in Sztutowo
  • the mouth of the Vistula River into the Baltic Sea (observation of birds and a large population of seals)
