The area is under legal protection in order to preserve the country’s unique natural, cultural, historical and landscape values.
The park covers the eastern part of the Vistula Spit with a series of dunes covered with a coastal pine forest, the highest of which is the Wielbłądzi Garb (Camel’s Hump) with a height of 49.5 m above sea level.
